I have been waiting for a long time to see the Bullfinches in snow. Now I finally got it. Mostly the snow falls of the branches but this time it was wet and stayed on. 
And, having a little fun creating a sketch out of one of the images using CS5 to do it.

This was a rare day this winter. A little snow and sunshine. Almost thought I was in a different country. 
As it has been a snow free and rather warm winter not many birds has been to the feeder at the forest edge. But these are almost always there every time I pay a visit. I think the Nuthatch is preparing for a dive :)

Nötkråka - Nucifraga caryocatactes - Spotted nutcracker

It was a grey day so the image is not that good. It was the second time I saw this species and first time I got a shot. And one shot only. Fun thing about it is that I saw it in the same place as I did a little more then 2 years ago. Maybe it is it´s territory but it has no partner. I don´t know if it is a male or female. They are alike.
