When I first saw the Buzzards they were together. When I was able to stop the car the bright one took off. The dark one tried to follow but could not. It seemed to have injured one wing. My guess is that this is a parent and a juvenile. The dark one would be the parent. The brown one was still on the field when I left.
I took the images with a long lens and they are heavily cropped.

ReplyDeleteHello!:) Good shots of the Buzzard! I see them around here, but don't often get close enough to get such good captures.
ReplyDeleteGreat encounter!
ReplyDeletethanks!
ReplyDeleteI was surprised at how many of these I saw when I was back in the UK this year - good to see that their populations have recovered a bit.
