Finally, this is the best sight I had of the Waxwing for three years. I just love this bird. I was on my way home when I heard the sound. Then I had to look for them, it was not hard to find them.

How wonderful to see so many Waxwings
ReplyDeleteWow, very cool to see this large flock of Bohemian Waxwings. They are a rare sighting around here. Wonderful photos.
ReplyDeleteLovely. They are such pretty birds. I see Cedar Waxwings often, but never Bohemian Waxwings.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful birds and great photos!

Our Waxwings are very similar to yours and yes, their high pitched thin whistling sound is easy to distinguish. These are great pictures as the Waxwing hang out in a groups it mkes them easier to capture. What fun, Monica ...

ReplyDeleteNice to see the Bohemian Waxwings. I have only seen a flock of them once and that was a long time ago!
ReplyDeleteDropping by from your link at Eileen's. Those are great birds! I always enjoy when a group of them passes through.
ReplyDeleteThat is quite a flock of birds. I have never seen one in person; just in photos. They are a beautiful bird.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and this looks so much like a few of my shares from a month ago of the Cedar Waxwings. I just love them all~
