Ejder - Somateria mollissima - Common Eider

Birding for a while before hotel breakfast. The Gannets are also hungry but the Eiders still sleep. It was interesting to see the Gannet actually formed the V on this morning trip to the feeding ground. Flying close to the water.
From my trip to Scotland 2 year ago.

This is the reason why I went to Scotland. To see this bird in action. :) And it was worth it!

I continue with the birds from Scotland on my trip in June 2012.  Lots of birds was seen from the ferry. Both close and distant. I love it. It is actually rather nice to go back and remember the trip once again when looking through the files. :)
