Svarthakedopping - Podiceps auritus - Horned Grebe

I was suspecting there would be young grebes that day so I went out. It was not easy to take shots in the hard rain balancing an umbrella and manouvering the camera with my long camera lens. The birds did not seem to fancy the hard rain either. Mom and dad grebe seemed all soaked up too.

A bird I really enjoy watching is the Lapwing. This day there were a lot of action going on in the small wetland. And I had fun time catching them. :)
