The Spotted Redshank is a pretty bird. I love the first two shots.
ReplyDeleteIt's a superb bird when it's in breeding plumage. Great shots.
ReplyDeleteWonderful bird! I saw some today, in the UK, but they were too far away for decent pictures.
ReplyDeleteCheers - Stewart M - Melbourne (but in the UK at present!)
Well, I know plenty of women who would love to have long legs like that. What a beautiful and interesting bird. Love all of the pictures, Monica ... So leave it to the old man to walk out on the Mom and children. But that seems to be common in the bird world, though I saw a father Mallard take over the care of his ducklings when the mother was killed ... it was touching.
