 The young Sparrowhawk surprised me as I rarely see any.
Here it sits on the roadside security beam showing off it´s dirty feet. Fooled me a lot as I thought they were black not yellow.

I am told young ones often have eyes in the neck. As this one clearly have.

Fiskgjuse - Pandion haliaetus - Osprey

I had seen this Osprey earlier when it was leaving the little wetland. I was looking elsewhere and did not see it coming back. I guess I reacted to the splash from the dive and turned to shoot. And had the bird coming right at me from behind the reed.  Instinctly I pulled the trigger and this is the actual shot. SOOC as they call it. Too bad I did not catch the entire face. That would have been cool.

Here I had time to turn around. It is not perfectly sharp but you can see the big fish it is holding.

And then it headed away to another bird high up in the air. Maybe a juvie.

I finally saw some eagles. But I still has not got what I wanted. I wanted them on the ground, feeding. But it seems like the hunters hasn´t got any big game. So that might be the reason why the eagles are reluctant or absent. Lots of blackbirds though.

This seem to be a common sight of this bird, with the legs hanging down.

Det är konstigt med den här fågeln. Första gången jag såg hanen så tänkte jag "vilken vacker fågel". Nu såg jag den här på långt håll och tänkte" så vacker".  Jag kan inte avgöra om det här är en hona eller en juvenil. Förhoppningsvis kan jag få en bättre bild nästa gång.

It is weird really. First time I saw any of them I thought " how beautiful". This time I saw this from a great distance and my thought again ""how beautiful". I have no idéa if this is a female or a young bird. Hopefully I can get a better image next time I see it.
