A nice surprise today when I spotted the Eurasian Hobby.  First time I have seen it this year. It is such a beautiful bird of prey. Only too soon it disappeared behind the trees.

A beautiful bird flying over my head when I stood on the birding tower at Rysjön, Kvismaren Bird Observatory. I was able to enjoy this one for more then 20 min. I hope you enjoy it too.

First time I got shots from this bird in Sweden so I was quite happy. They were really nice to watch. :)

We saw lots of them trying to migrate. Both this couple and others.  A common bird they say, but not where I live.
