 A flock of Hawfinch outside my window on the third floor. I have been lucky to see them this winter. This time it was 10 of them. The largest group so far.

 A pair being watched by a third bird, a male.

Sitting in my kitchen drinking a  cup of coffee I noticed some movements in the treetops outside.  Did not look like a Bluetit  so I got my binochular to check. It was the Hawfinch, a male. I rarely see them so I picked up the camera and went out the balcony. This is what I got. Some times third floor and a 500mm lens is just right. :)

High up in a birchtop was something I did not recognize. Did not see it until I had it on the computer. The Hawfinch!  First time for me.  :)
