Images from my visit to Stape Island in June 120626. In the last image the bird in the middle has an egg below it´s wing.   Did not see it until now. :) The markings at the eyes means it is breeding plumage.

Walking close to these birds on Staple Island in June last year was a real joy. A lovely seabird in the alca family.

 Met a small family of Long Tailed Tits when I was on my way to the supermarket. It was already darkening but I manage to capture this little curious one. It obviously is curious about me and what I am doing.

  A group of bullfinches has been outside my balcony now and then for a couple of days. They stays mostly in the top of a cherry tree, eating buds I think. It is a nice thing to study them, they are really great athletes.

A very nice member of the gull family. It looks rather dangerous having the nest on cliffs like that. But they manage. Love the last shot with the preening chick and sleeping parent. Images from my visit to the island last summer.

Hey guys, come down, please! They didn´t. :(
I finally spotted a small group of Bohemian waxwings high up in a treetop. They all sat in the still sunny parts of the tree. In a way I was happy because last year I never saw them in sunshine. Only got grey birds on a rainy day. Not fun as this bird needs sunshine to shine. :)

The title says a few! Yes, outside my window was 3 bullfinches, At the feeder was only three Blyúe tits that I could see. And the poor Goldeneye was alone in the entire lake that I could see. :(
Guess I will not be birding for a while. But luckily I have birds from Scotland, Morocco and Honoulu that I can post. I´ll still be around the birding blogs. :)
