Skata - Pica pica - Magpie

This magpie was quite interesting. It landed on the roof top and then flew down to land on a place it obviously knew about. I never heard of this bird hiding food for winter but this one knew exactly that it would find something to eat at this spot.

Stjärtmes - Aegithalos caudatus - Long tailed tit

A visit to the forest the other day gave me a rare sight. The whole family of long tailed tits visited. I think it was 8 or 9 of them. And I could enjoy them for about 10 minutes  :)
Looking at my images I can see their colors give a very good camouflage. But, their sound always gives them away.

I was lucky to see some of them in the forest. Maybe eight or ten of them. The females was very sky and did not come close enough for good shots.  They are "winterbirds" and rarely seen in summer.
