Skata - Pica pica - Magpie

This magpie was quite interesting. It landed on the roof top and then flew down to land on a place it obviously knew about. I never heard of this bird hiding food for winter but this one knew exactly that it would find something to eat at this spot.

On New Years Eve a lot of Magpies were gathering in the tree outside my window.  Maybe the warm weather made them believe it was breeding time already. I have noticed they come together like this in the beginning of a new year.

This must be a juvie. It is brown in it´s head and neck and they shall be black. Never seen one this brown before.

A magpie waiting, in the cold, outside my window, for me to leave so it can steal the food from the tits. The magpie is a big bird and I can´t feed them too on my balcony.
