Lots of cranes are gathering now. They seem to thrive in Sweden nowadays. 15 years ago I rarely seen any. Now they are common. Probably because there are more wetland now. I wish I had the sound for the last shot. :) You can´t miss a crane. You hear them.

It is neat seeing the flocks of cranes. Cool captures of the cranes!

ReplyDeleteI've only seen this crane ONCE in the US and they seem to be popping up a bit more each year. Great birds! They are larger than our Sandhill Cranes. Both of these cranes see to have been growing in numbers.
