This area belongs to a Nature Reserve called Sörön in Kvismaren
It was a bit strange because I did see a Harrier with this color at the same spot last year. I love the green color tone on it´s under side of the wings. Not sure if it is real though or a reflection of the grass. Some of the males is light like this one, but the book says nothing about green color only brown.

Cool series of Harrier shots. Awesome bird! Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteFantastic shots of a great bird.
ReplyDeleteI do love the Marsh Harrier and your shots are excellent.
ReplyDeleteSuper in flight shots of the M Harrier.
ReplyDeleteHe would be handsome in any color. You have captured their typical hunting technique of flying low over the grass then dropping on their pray. What a wonderful series, Monica ... I love the Harriers. We have Northern Gray Harriers here, but they both look alike with different coloring. They have those owl like facial disks that gives them a special appearance . Love it ...
