As far as I can tell this is a Marsh Harrier. I took the image in the end of May. A time when they return to Sweden.

ReplyDeleteWow. Ironically, I'm just now going through my bird guide book and in he hawk/harrier section...and was reading about the Northern Harrier!! And I see on the page that the Marsh Harrier/Hawk is in our par to the world...interesting!!

ReplyDeleteIn this autumn there is in Finland lots of the western marsh harriers. But I dont have any good photos of them. Maby I will have lucky someday and I will take a good photo...
