A juvenile blackbird, probably male, was visiting the area below my balcony a rainy day. Looking for a meal I suppose.

From my book I think this is a male juvenile. The dark plumage points to a male. First time I saw a young from this species. Images of ad below.

I saw this blackbird male on my morning walk today. He was sitting in backlight that enhanced his bill nicely. The little Robin sits quite well in that tree. Suitable colors for it I think.

In autumn it is sometimes good to live on the third floor.  With trees outside.  Currently there are a lot of Fieldfares ravaging the treetops and grass on the ground. And a Blackbird or two.

About this birds I remember I didn´t really have time to shoot birds as we were leaving for an early morning trip to Aberlady Bay. It was only 6.15 in the morning and everyone was entering the car.  So, just a quick shot for documentation.

A lovely bird to see in winter. Sometimes at a feeder. They stay put as ong as there are berries on trees. Otherwise they migrate.

Now I have a new camera and a new lens. I took a walk in my snowy neighbourhood, it came 2 dm snow last night. :(   My old camera equipment was worn out and not fun at all to work with. Today it was once again fun. I got shots I like today despite the gray weather.
