Strömstare - Cinclus cinclus - White-throated Dipper

This shall actually be gularis, aquaticus not Cinclus according to my book.

We saw this Dipper in a stream hunting for food. I aded the flight shot as I did not have any before. Sorry it is not that great.

This Reed Bunting sat in a treetop at Aberlady Bay. I guess it did not appreciate a bunch of Swedes approaching it. Better safe then sorry, it took of.   :)

Eider females seemed to be very common in Scotland. During our visit we saw many females but only two males. Maybe the males were off somewhere changing plumage.

I am used to find Curlews at teh beaches. But this one lived in the low mountains in Scotland. It seemed to have a nest to protect. It did not really like us to be in the area.
