Eurasian Siskin - Grönsiska

A few of the Robins stays in Sweden during winter and so do Siskins. The grey wagtail migrates and they have been here a few days. This pair just decided for a place to nest. I think I know where.

Yesterdays birds

I went to the forest feeder and the lake yesterday. At the feeder I noticed great spotted woodpecker, nuthatcher and a female Eurasian Siskin. At the lake most ice was now gone and replaced with graylag goose and lots of coots. Spring IS here!

A tree creeper on the ground? Not often seen so it must be hungry. And here it has some Siskins for company. Looking for food from a nearby feeder.

The other day I finally found a group of Siskins. They have been rare this winter.
But now they posed nicely. On top, a male, then a female wondering what I´m doing. And finally, try to see them., there are three in the image.

Eurasian Siskin and Blue tit

If it was not for the movement in the water I would never have seen those guys. They were so hard to see and also to focus for sharp images. There was too much going on here. :)
