Nice birds and photo. The Siskins looks similiar to the Pine Siskins I am use to seeing. Your European Goldfinch is beautiful and a lot different than our American Goldfinch.
I'm surprised to see how different the European goldfinch is from the American goldfinch. Siskins and goldfinches are often seen together at winter feeders here in Canada too,
mamma mia .. underbart .. så himla fin .. ja den är så vacker .. vilken!! ju Steglitsen förstås :)
ReplyDeleteNice! Your goldfinches look so different from those we have in North America. They're very interesting-looking critters.

ReplyDeleteSteglitz den ser vi inte så ofta här i kring...det är en mycket vacker fågel!
ReplyDeleteLovely birds - but I must say I'm glad I don't have to have all that snow around! (I live in the sub-topics)
ReplyDeleteNice scene! I miss European Goldfinches but the American ones are a nice substitute. ;)
ReplyDelete...sweet little birds! They look very much like our Pine Siskins (but your golfinch is a lot different than ours!).
ReplyDeleteCute photo! I love how the Goldfinch "snubbed" the Siskins by facing the other way. LOL.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean :)
ReplyDeleteWow, what a striking bird is that European Goldfinch! Beatiful shot of them feeding in the snow.
