Trädkrypare - Certhia familiaris - CommonTree creeper
NF Photo 130114

Yesterday was a great day at the forest feeder. I was standing there watching the usual tits and nuthatchers when I noticed something different on the ground. Took a while before I realized it was a Treecreeper. Never seen it on the ground like that. So this time I got some nice shots of it from different angles. The last shot, that´s some great camoflage, don´t you think. :)

  6. Great photos of the Tree Creeper - they would be very hard to see against that colored bark on the tree.

  8. Hej!

  13. Never heard of a tree creeper before, but it is so well camouflaged that it would be hard to see at the best of times! I love the curve in its beak!

    kram :)

  16. I love tree creepers and they are hard to get a photos of. I take some suet and smear it into cracks in the tree trunks during the winter for them and they do eat it..Michelle

Fina bilder.

  19. Yes that camouflage is amazing...I swear if I hadn't seen your other photos of the beautiful little bird first I wouldn't have spotted it.

Those little guys that walk up trees and down are really fun to watch aren't they?
