A very nice member of the gull family. It looks rather dangerous having the nest on cliffs like that. But they manage. Love the last shot with the preening chick and sleeping parent. Images from my visit to the island last summer.

  16. Nice looking bird - we don't have anything like the number of gull species that Europe does - which does make for easier identification!

    The Australian Magpie is more of a Butcher Bird than a crow.
