Gärdsmyg - Troglodytes troglodytes - Winter Wren or Eurasian wren
© NF Photo 140612
I finally got some good photos or our wren here in Sweden. The first images might be an adult bird. The others is clearly a young. Talk about being well camouflaged. It was really hard to keep track of it. This wren is not as dark as teh one in the states. And the shape of the bill seem to differ a bit.

HI Yes he is a tricky little bird to photograph. I was at my old caravan for the past few days and there were many Wrens singing and even perching on posts around my caravan and yet I did not get a good photo the whole time I was there!! But great to see you good photos. Hope you will enjoy my slide show yesterday of Rowallane Gardens and the video today.
ReplyDeleteVerkligt snygga bilder!
ReplyDeleteWrens are such wonderful little birds. Good capture.
ReplyDeleteYes, you are quite right, they are a little different from the Wrens in the states, but that little high cocked tail is a give away. They are cute, though ornery, wherever they are.
