As far as I can tell this is a Marsh Harrier. I took the image in the end of May. A time when they return to Sweden.

  3. Wow. Ironically, I'm just now going through my bird guide book and in he hawk/harrier section...and was reading about the Northern Harrier!! And I see on the page that the Marsh Harrier/Hawk is in our par to the world...interesting!!

    Fabulous in flight photo showing off its patterned wings. Love it.

    In this autumn there is in Finland lots of the western marsh harriers. But I dont have any good photos of them. Maby I will have lucky someday and I will take a good photo...
