I was up early this morning to capture mist and sunrise. The sun was still low when I spotted this juvenile Northern Weatear. The low sun made it´s color so soft and rich. I did not see any adults so I guess this one was on it´s own. It will soon turn south as fall is approaching.

    Loving it. Neat bird. At first I thought the worm [in the top photo] was its beak...then, realized it was breakfast.
