This is a most interesting bird to watch. Especially when they take to the air. To see the flock change between white and black is stunning. They glitter in the air. These are gathering before starting the migration southwards.

  3. This is a beautiful water bird ... I love the coloring and I can see what you are saying about when they are in flight. I am excited about the migrations starting. We are already seeing the Loons from the north on our lake. I am hoping to get some good bird pictures this year ... have to admit that sparrows get boring after awhile :) Have a good day, Monica ...
