Finally, this is the best sight I had of the Waxwing for three years. I just love this bird. I was on my way home when I heard the sound. Then I had to look for them, it was not hard to find them.

  4. Our Waxwings are very similar to yours and yes, their high pitched thin whistling sound is easy to distinguish. These are great pictures as the Waxwing hang out in a groups it mkes them easier to capture. What fun, Monica ...
