I rarely see any owl so this was quite an experience. I spotted one but I heard there shall be three of them.

  4. Rare to see any owls in daylight, so you were quite lucky. Usually they are roosting and very hard to see because of their ability to blend. Love the Short Eared Owls we have here ... don't know if they are the same, but they are beautiful.
