Havsörn - Sea Eagle. NF Photo 101116
This was the closest I ever managed to come to one of them. But I still don´t have a ground shot. They left because there was nothing more to eat but bare bones. Yes, I checked when they were gone.

Turkduva - Streptopelia decaocto - Eurasian Collared Dove.  NF Photo 101119
I was out for a walk the other day. Close to home I spotted this dove sitting on the antenna. It was nice because it is the first time I have seen it in Sweden. So now I have 145 species for Sweden on my blog. And a total of 174 for Europe.  :)
Domherre - Bullfinch
NF Photo 101119
These bullfinches visited my balcony for the first time this season. I can see 5 on the flowerbox and two males in the trees behind it. This is also unusually early.

  1. How lucky you are to see that special eagle! So, they come close to human habitations, very interesting!

  2. I like the dove on the antenna and the Bullfinches. The dutch name for the Bullfinch is great - in German it's also called Dompfaff, that would be something like the Dom-preacher :-)

  5. Nice photo of the Eagle. Out here eagles are not easy to get close to either. I like the Bullfinches - how great to have them come that close to you.

  7. Hej!
