Jag har hört den här förut, sa de i fågelklubben, men jag har inte sett den förut. Ett nytt X idag.
I have heard this one before, but never seen it. And now I got shots. It is our smallest woodpecker and rarely seen. So, I was lucky. Why is it that peckers seem to jump instead of fly? This one is clearly jumping. I saw that same behavior once in Costa Rica too. :)

I get a lot of trash on this blog. I don´t want to use the Word verification here but I am shanging the settings. If you can´t comment I would appreciate if you jump to CR Birds and make a comment. I would like to know how many of you that has trouble commenting with this setting. http://nfcrbird.blogspot.com/

Woodpeckers! I LOVE them.
ReplyDeleteIt seems that woodpeckers are shy birds for the most part and are hard to photograph. I love that you provided additional links to go for more information as that is so helpful. Thank you for linking to Nature Notes and have a great nature filled week....Michelle
