Drillsnäppa - Actitis hypoleucos - Common Sandpiper
NF Photo 120813, Ålsäter

This is a nice little bird that is not that shy. This one stayed for a while despite it knew I was there. I think it checked out the new pathway. I was pleasently surprised to find it, the pathway. Now it is possible to get a bit longer out to overlook the lake. There was not much birds in the lake but from the plank you could tell some geeze had been there.

  5. This is so funny as there has been a common sandpiper on the pond for the last couple of days foraging for things to eat. So cute...Michelle
