Mindre hackspett - Dendrocopos minor - Lesser Spotted Woodpecker

I finally got to see this one up close. It is only the second time I´ve seen it. This is a female. She came to a feeder about 10 min from my home.  It is our smallest woodpecker.

  2. I love woodpeckers and we have 2 or 3 that have been coming to our feeders but they are very shy this year.

    I haven't been able to get any really good close up pictures yet!
