Fiskgjuse - Pandion haliaetus - Osprey

This day I was really out trying to get shots of the Grey Wagtail that stays a couple of km from my home. (a post of it HERE) Then, out of the blue, literally, this beauty landed on a dead birch just a few meters in front of me. And a perfectly fit in my camera lens too. Some days you are lucky. The last shot it passed me rather close.

ReplyDeleteWow, ibland händer det bara som de säger i triss reklamen. Grattis till en serie helt fantastiska bilder av fiskgjusen. Det är verkligen en mäktig fågel som man drömmer om att få se såhär tätt inpå. Jag lägger en hel del tid på dem då jag vill ha bilder när de fiskar men vi är aldrig på samma ställe.
