Kråka/Gråkråka - Corvus cornix - Hooded Crow
Going through the files from Scotland and Arran I found this Hooded Crow and realised I don´t have much images of crows. So why not post one? This one was at the same place as the young Oystercatchers. It looks pretty angry. Maybe it wanted some dinner.

ReplyDeleteFlott bilde!
ReplyDeleteAn interesting looking guy!
ReplyDeleteLovely photo.
ReplyDeleteJag tycker att kråkan är stilig.
ReplyDeleteNice looking bird - the grey sections make it very different from the rest of the Crows in the UK.

Me again - we get Little Terns here as well - as far as I know they have a longer white stripe that goes behind the eye and black (or at least very dark) outer primaries. Out of breeding plumage it can be very hard to split them.
