This was yesterdays highlight. While I was looking at the Buzzard I noted the little Northern Wheatear on the ground. First one this season. He is a beauty as much as the Buzzard. There was a female too but she did not want to be on camera. :)

  2. The Wheatear is a really handsome bird. I saw some in Angelsey a few weeks ago, males and females. From Findlay

  3. Great photos of the in-flight buzzard and I am sure the first wheatear of the season is a very welcome sight.

  4. The Buteo is a hawk over here and the Buzzard is what some call a Vulture ... Birding could sure get confusing ... but you can't be confused about the beautiful birds in this post ... very nice!
