This was not fun to watch. The Coot raided the nest of the Gulls and it was not popular. The two species both has nests about 3m apart from one another. But this seems to show the Coot feasting on the Gulls eggs.  And the gulls can co nothing about it. In the third image you can see how the Coot seem to try to clean itself from remaining egg residues on it´s head.

  1. Well I know this is nature in the raw but not nice to watch.

  2. It's part of nature we don't like to see, but all so necessary it seems.

  3. Great series!! Boom, Bobbi and Gary.

  4. Great captures of this harsher side of nature.
