Vitkindad gås - Branta leucopsis - Barnacle Goose

Click to see with Light box
This is a rare sight nowadays. We call them heystacks. I was happy the geese grazed in front of them. A great opportunity for a shot.

The  Barnacle Goose seems to thrive in the heat. This seems to be an adult and two young ones.

Well. finally, all of the geeze decided that a swim is good!

This place is a mix of Nature Reserve and old times farming. A great opportunity for swimming and tanning and learning a lot of things doing it. :)

  1. I've never seen hay stacked that way. How nice of the Barnacle Geese to pose in front of them. ;)

  5. Vackra fåglar! Antalet har ökat i Helsingfors och alla gillar inte dem.
