I visited the Arboretum yesterday and did see one Jay. I walked around among the trees and there is another Jay. It turned out to be 4 or 5 of them. A family. Quite hard to spot in the branches but I was happy. The bird in the first image was clearly checking me out before taking off. In the last shot there are 2 of them sitting on a branch. In another post I will share some of the trees in the Arboretum.

  2. If I saw one of these, and got a decent photo of it...I'd probably pee my pants with excitement. Gorgeous. Your photos are post card perfect.

  4. They may have been hard to spot - but I suppose you could hear them. Very noisy birds.
