The forest gave me a treat today. Two juvenile Winter Wrens hopping around on the branches.

  1. Always a joy to see new life appearing. The winter here (UK) has been fairly kind to many of our smaller species including the Wren so hopefully plenty of youngsters will soon be seen.

  2. I agree that is quite a treat. I love the little Wrens with their little tails sticking straight up in the air and their huge voice that would seem to rattle their little bodies as their song fills the air. Beautiful shots, Monica ... hope they were old enough to sing to you :)
