It was a grey day so the image is not that good. It was the second time I saw this species and first time I got a shot. And one shot only. Fun thing about it is that I saw it in the same place as I did a little more then 2 years ago. Maybe it is it´s territory but it has no partner. I don´t know if it is a male or female. They are alike.

  2. Most likely the mate is not around this time of year. Many birds go their separate ways when it isn't mating season. But what a handsome bird ... and to tell the truth, I didn't know there was a bird called the Nutcracker. Learn something new every day :)
