The birds are finally coming in. Sweden is now thawing. And for now it is an ugly country. But that will not last for long. I hope. :)

Spring has sprung here too (Netherlands). Our last ice melted this week. Birds are singing :-))
ReplyDeleteA warm hello from Turkey to Sweden! Spring has definitely come here, the sun is shining, the flowers are blooming, the birds are singing. Seeing your beautiful photos perfectly documenting the arrival of such amazing birds, I think Sweden must be a heaven on Earth in spring. Patience, just a few days left! :-)

It always amazes me that the birds return before the ice and snow have completely melted. It seems to miss the point of flying south for the winter.
ReplyDeletethese are so nice! i really like the flight shot you got, and that middle photo - so pretty! Welcome back to them :)
ReplyDeleteGreat photos and nice to know that your spring is arriving. Shorebirds are leaving us here in the south (Australia) and flying north for your summer.
ReplyDeleteMick, I will await whatever shorebirds are coming here. But that lovely egret of yours will not come this far. :(
ReplyDeleteBut maybe I will spot it in France. I will go there for a week in the beginning of May. To Camargue :)
Beautiful photos! I love the flight photo, and there's something just so peaceful in the last photo. I really like it.
ReplyDeleteYou have very beautiful geese and Swans.
ReplyDeleteIt looks so peaceful there with the snow. I'm sure you will enjoy the Spring as it turns warmer and sunny though. My favorite time of year with the birds building their nests in preparation for a new life cycle.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the shot of the gray geese! Fantastic!
ReplyDeletegald you liked it :)
ReplyDeleteIs that their real name? Whopper Swans? They sure are big!
