Nattskärra on youtube and here
This was a really hard one. Two nights in a row I went up at 04.00 to drive to where they were supposed to be. I was lucky. I was told they were arriving from the east over the Baltic sea. Then they continue south to europe. As it is chilly this time of year they land on the asphalt to get some warmth from it. I spotted 4 or 5 sitting there and flying across the road in the headlights of the car. The first thing you saw was the red light reflected in their eyes. Trying to take some shots was a challenge. The one I show was the best one I got. I had to take it from inside the car. They were scared enough without trying to go outside. But, I have now seen it, and it was fun. Maybe I try again next year.
