She was just sitting there looking great. Maybe I saw her because she was alone. She was really goodlooking where she sat in the snow.

Great photos of the House Sparrows. They were introduced into Australia many years ago but recently I have not seen so many of them around here.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos. I wish we would see them more often in the cities.
ReplyDeleteI love house sparrows. We had them where I grew up, but I don't see them now that I live in Louisiana. Thanks for sharing yours!
/Bea
Don't see too many over here great photos.
ReplyDeletethey are actually decreasing in numbers here as well. Too bad.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your commentens!
The house sparrows here look a little different. But I can assure you that they are ALL OVER THE PLACE. Need some? We'll gladly give them to you! They are not very kind to our native birds.
ReplyDeleteDet var fina bilder på dom :) där har du fått väldigt bra ljus och färg i bilderna :)
ReplyDeleteNice shots of the House Sparrows in the snow. I have heard that their numbers are decreasing over there, but like Mike said, we have an over abundance in the US. It truly would be a good idea to capture some US birds and relocate them to the European areas where the species is in decline. Unfortunately, they compete with our native species for habitat, especially cavity nesting birds like the Bluebird.
ReplyDeleteYea, I know there are soem problems over there. It mostly are when species are introduced where they don´t belong.
