This might be a cheat as I found these birds in captivity. But yet, it IS a new species to me. It does not come to Sweden as it is a Mediterranean species and I found it on Malta.

World Bird Wednesday XXXIII
a new meetingplace for our winged friends. Starts on Thursdays at 20.00 Stockholm time.
I hope to see some butterflies, dragonflies and bugs. Birds are also welcome, of course, as any other "flying objects". Known or unknown. And, as I hope, from all over the world.

  9. Nice photos of the ducks - even if they were captive. I read endless arguments from other birders about if you can count such birds on your list.

  13. Kanske kan du hjälpa mig... Hur ser man skillnad på vitögd dykand och en knipa(hona)?
