This was a great experience. We headed for the lek area at 23.00 in the evening and stayed for about 2h. A thanks to Johan that brought us there. The video below is not mine of course, but I wish it was. It is great.

ReplyDeleteI have seen them making night flying over our lake during summers but I never met them. My daughter took photos from youngsters with very long legs, she was excited and did not have any clue, which birds they were.
