They started the forest feeder for the winter so I went there to see what birds had come. Seems like most of the regulars found it. At the lake the mallards and the gadwells took off before i even got close. :( From the tower I spotted a strange looking female mallard. Her front and head was different.

  1. Så härliga bilder på alla matgästerna! Så har det sett ut i min trädgård också idag (inga änder förstås) för nu har jag också börjat mata! Ha en fin kväll! /Pia

  2. You have a good variety of birds.

  3. More lovely shots. Nice Woodpecker.

  4. I love the idea of a forest feeder and the variety of birds that it attracts. Mallard ducks breed with other kinds of ducks and can produce strange hybrids..she does look different...Michelle

  5. Great photos - I especially like all the birds on the lake.

  6. Great group of birds!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.

  7. Beautiful birds and photos. My favorite is the nuthatch! Thanks for sharing.

  8. Nice! I can't get birds on my feeder. Think I might need to change up my seeds I guess.
