Forest feeder and the lake

And mallards

They started the forest feeder for the winter so I went there to see what birds had come. Seems like most of the regulars found it. At the lake the mallards and the gadwells took off before i even got close. :( From the tower I spotted a strange looking female mallard. Her front and head was different.

  4. I love the idea of a forest feeder and the variety of birds that it attracts. Mallard ducks breed with other kinds of ducks and can produce strange hybrids..she does look different...Michelle
