Salskrake - Mergellus albellus - Smew

This is my favourite bird no. one. I like the coloring of both male and female. The male in its breeding plumage is so graphic with the white and black pattern and the crest on it´s head. There are only this pair in that lake and it is impossible to get close. I walked hidden in the forest but that did not help. They noticed me and took of. They will probably soon continue up north.
