This morning I woke up early and decided to go birding before breakfast. There is a place rather close where you can take a short forest walk and down to a small lake. If lucky there might be a bird or two there. And this morning I got myself a new species. This one is not that uncommon but it is mostly hidden and hard to find. Not it was sitting easy to spot in the treetop. With the camera ready I manage to get a few shots. It belongs to the woodpecker family.
