A Golden plover male in it´s nice breeding plumage. Photo from Storulvå Mountain 110616 and snow still present. The bird is split into southern and northern. This one is of the Northern birds. When looking at these photos it become obvious why it has the plumage it has. :)

De är så vackra. Jag såg dem i fjällen i somras men nu verkar de ha flyttat...jag har då inte sett till någon... :)
