Ormvråk - Common Buzzard

It was a real joy watching this beautiful Buzzard searching the area for prey. And happy for the challenge of capturing the flight.

Vilket sammanträffande, här hos mig seglade två ormvråkar runtom i skyn för några minuter idag, men i brådrasket hade jag inte tid att ställa in kameran och av bilderna blev det inget!!
Dessa ögonblick som inte kommer varje dag!

Great photos. I especially like the first one where the bird is standing out so clearly against the background of the farm buildings.
Beautiful birds. Your images are fantastic. I live on a housing estate on the edge of my town and often see Buzzards (up to eight at a time) they really are a success in the UK at the moment.

Det såg nästan ut som du hade varit på segerstad och fotat den .. för på den första bilder såg det precis ut så där vi brukar få se kärrhöken :)

Hej! Du får ursäkta om jag gör dig lite besviken, men det är en fjällvråk som du fångat på bild. fast den tycker jag är häftigare än ormvråken. Just vid Stensjön är de ganska vanliga höst, vinter och vår. Jag tror jag såg den här individen när jag hälsade på min mamma senast, som bor en den f.d. lanthandeln med utsikt över Stensjön. /Urban
